As a person who loves to cook I indulge in cooking literature from time to time. I was reading the February 2008 issue of Bon Appetit when I ran across the “From The Editor” article by Barbara Fairchild. Barbara’s comments on food was hit head on.
“Food is culture, food is big business, but most of all, food is the topic of conversation almost everywhere.”
She goes on to say, “What I believe it boils down to is this: We all want to eat healthfully and well, indulge occasionally with something extra-special, and use food as a relaxing, creative outlet that we can celebrate with family and friends. ”
Barbara I could not have said it better!
